AODocs backend 68.10 released on 10 February 2026

New features and feature improvements 

• We now provide limit returns paginated results when calling the GET Category API endpoint.
• The document preview (available in new views) is activated by default on tenants using the new library administration interface.

Bug fixes

• We fixed missing IDs for reference catalogs when used in a Table configuration.
• Microsoft Graph user-change notifications are now resilient to subscription renewals. We did this by temporarily accepting the previous validation token right after renewal.
• Permissions of deleted groups are now prevented from being synced to Drive attached files.
• We fixed library copy failures on very large libraries by batching category-value cloning to avoid OOM/timeouts and prevent “ghost” partially-initialized copies.
• We fixed cases where the number of attached files indicated didn't reflect the actual number of files.

New library administration interface 0.3.5 released  on 9 February 2026

New features and feature improvements

• We applied a new user interface to lists in the categories and relations sections.
• We updated the interface text in the General Settings section.
• We improved the Views list with:
  • a new list layout
  • the Related class column indicates & all others (classes)
  • removal of the Make default class logic
  • a new dialog
• We  improved  the document classes section with:
  • new list layout
  • Cancel and Save buttons in the Inbound Email creation dialog.
• We enhanced workflow visualization by making it possible to open a state directly from the graph by clicking on a node.

• We added a legend in the formula editors to make it easier for users to write formulas and calculate properties.

Bug fixes

• We fixed View pre-filter deletion on Enter and related date handling issues.
• Fixed an issue where adding a group to library permissions incorrectly added it as a user instead of a group.

File Storage Manager 3.19 released on 3 February 2026

Feature improvement

• AODocs now supports Azure Premium Storage accounts. We made this possible by adapting tier-handling logic so AODocs can properly detect and work with Premium configurations.

Bug fixes

• We fixed client generation by restoring the missing dependency and including the ExtensionEndpoint in the generated client.
• We fixed the Azure event processing failures caused by oversized HTTP headers.
• There's a new permission check on customer-owned Google Cloud Storage (GCS) buckets so libraries can only be created when the required access is correctly set.
• We fixed an issue where Azure Blob notifications weren't published when blobs included event_info metadata by moving notification publishing earlier in the flow.

Technical improvements

• We improved Azure Blob Storage validation by checking the blob change feed status directly in the storage account configuration. This prevents false “Missing the notification configuration” errors during library creation and Library Switcher operations.
• We refactored the deferred task framework to work consistently across both Google Cloud Storage and Azure backends.

• We refactored the navigation bar for improved structure and usability.

Bug fix

• We fixed an issue where editing a numeric cell with the value “0” did not save and left the cell empty.

• We added missing French translations in the tenant administration and library configuration.
• We fixed an issue where the folder structure disappeared in the Browse By panel when using a folder pre-filter.

• The document preview (in new views) is available. Library administrators can define whether it is available in views and configure its settings.

Bug fixes

• Attached files preview – we fixed an issue where the document title was displayed vertically when previewing attached files with the side panel open. We added a tooltip to ensure the title remains readable.
• Advanced viewer – we fixed an issue where the Advanced Viewer didn't display PSD files correctly.

New library administration interface 0.3.1 released on 8 January 2026

Feature improvements 

• Duplicated properties are now added directly underneath the original in the document class layout settings.
• Relation descriptions can now be edited.

AODocs backend 68.8 released on 29 December 2025

Bug fix

• We fixed missing glossary translations so workflow states (workflow basket) and category values now display correctly in all views, including tables and Documents Lite.

Technical improvements

• We increased the document entity cache TTL so daily background jobs reuse cached documents more effectively, reducing repeated loads and improving overall performance.
• We optimized the daily permission check cron to only scan documents with attached files, reducing unnecessary processing and load. 
• We added a diagnostic event to track document cache efficiency, making it easier to monitor cache hit ratios and spot performance regressions.

New user interface 1.8.1 released on 19 December 2025

Bug fixes 

• We fixed an issue where the search engine did not return results on the first attempt when searching from a Drive library.
• We fixed a URL filter persistence issue that also resolved LumApps iFrame issues.
   

AODocs backend 68.7 will be released on 15 December 2025

Bug fix

• We fixed an issue where some Google Drive files opened through AODocs incorrectly showing a “storage is full” banner and blocked editing, even though the domain’s storage was at ~1%.
• We fixed a null-pointer error when syncing users whose Google Directory profile has no name.

Technical improvements

• We optimized attached file notifications in libraries using Google Cloud or Azure Blob storage so the optical character recognition (OCR) pipeline only runs when New Search or AIDA feature flags are enabled. This cuts unnecessary processing (and cost) on domains that don’t use these features.
• We raised the baseline HRU thresholds (×5) to reduce false alerts and avoid needless domain stoppages or updated custom thresholds when below the new baseline.
• We added Azure AD user synchronization, enabling AODocs to fetch, index, and make Microsoft users usable in permissions, sharing, and search (behind a feature flag).
• We added the ENABLE_MICROSOFT_USERS_SYNCHRONIZATION feature flag to control rollout of Microsoft user syncing from Azure AD.
• We increased backend test coverage for the most commonly used custom script methods to prevent regressions and make sure future refactors don't break existing customer scripts.
• We added a new custom-script API to allow library administrators to safely allowlist external emails with full validation and audit tracking (under feature flag).
• We added support for removing allowlisted emails via custom scripts, letting library admins revoke external access programmatically with full audit logging and safety checks.
• Upgraded AODocs backend to embed Doc Assembly and File Templating Service 2.11.
   

AODocs web application 68.5 released on 10 December 2025

Bug fix 

• We fixed an issue when attempting to replace an attached file with an unknown file extension failed silently and resulted in no changes. The operation now behaves correctly and provides proper feedback.

Technical improvement

• We removed the Google Drive updates banner.
   

New library administration interface 0.2.7 released on 9 December 2025

Feature improvements 

• We improved the Manage inbound emails panel, making it clearer and easier to manage email-related settings.
• We added Matomo configuration for usage tracking on production.

Bug fixes 

• We fixed an issue where drag & drop was not working for views and relations. Proper ordering of fields is now restored.
• We fixed a general drag & drop problem where moving an item placed it in the wrong position.

New user interface 1.8 released on 4 December 2025

Feature improvement

• The selected item in the "Browse by folder or category" panel is persisted when switching views.

New library administration interface 0.2.5  released on 1 December 2025 

Bug fixes 

• AI Document processing: the Save button is now re-activated after the user deletes a reference class configuration.
• Document class homepage: we fixed an issue that prevented custom scripts from being displayed.
• Fixed a bug where the class workflow was not refreshed when switching from one class to another.

Technical improvements

• We updated the configuration to enable new class, workflow, and table features on selected domains.
• We added n allowlisted domain for automated testing.

Bug fixes

• External users can now preview Drive attached files with the advanced viewer.
• Beta views no longer show as empty when no sort column is specified in the library administration.

AIDA 2.4.6  released on 24 November 2025

Feature improvement

• When calling AIDA after selecting documents in a view, AIDA's answers are restricted to the selected documents. 

Technical improvement

• We no longer load fonts from the web. AIDa now uses internal fonts only.

Feature improvements

• We fixed accessibility issues in all pages, to conform with WCAG 2.2 AA guidelines.
• Calling AIDA after selecting documents in the view will restrict AIDA's answer to the selected documents. 
• We updated the icons on the view page.

Bug fixes

• Missing translations in filters were added.
• The library's recent activity sometimes displayed broken text and icons. This has been fixed.

AODocs web application 68.3 released on 17 November 2025

Feature improvement: We removed references to Google Workspace in the domain administration for non-Google domains.

Bug fix: Reference catalog values were no longer displayed in edit mode. This has been fixed.

AODocs backend 68.6 released on 13 November 2025

Feature improvements

• It's now possible to deactivate notifications in the email inbox – we added options to deactivate inbound email notifications, including backend and API support. Library administrators can mute success notifications or all notifications. This reduces noise and prevents email loops, while keeping workflow notifications active, with validation for conflicting settings.

Bug fixes

• We updated the internal document APIs to correctly return versionId outside the fields section and fixed a null check error when loading views with the default Show checked out documents setting.
• We fixed a Missing folder in parent path error when deleting trashed documents to restore proper cleanup and avoid orphaned folders.
• We fixed an issue preventing the deletion of category values in both old and new user interfaces. We set a default timezone (UTC) in backend search requests so the operation no longer fails with a Client timezone must be set error.
• We fixed an issue where the parent folder of a deleted folder could be re-imported into another library. This prevents invalid parent path conflicts after deleting folders.
• We restored unified authentication so users stay signed in across all AODocs tabs after reconnecting.

New user interface 1.6 released 13 November 2025

New features and feature improvements

• Administrators can force-change the workflow state of a document.
• It's now possible to open Bulk Updater from a view.
• Properties from different classes are now displayed in a given view. Properties with the same name are displayed in the same column. 
• When creating a document from the library homepage, or from the Copy files feature, we now display the most adapted view in the breadcrumb of the created document.

Bug fixes

• Views no longer keep refreshing when there are exactly 30 documents.
• Library description editor is now working properly in full screen mode. 
• The draft version of a document was opened even if the view was set to display only Published versions. This has been fixed.
• Users with an email matching both a Microsoft and Google account got a 500 error when previewing attached files.

File Storage Manager 3.18.1 released on 6 November 2025

Technical improvements

• We improved the Azure Blob copy process to support larger files within the 10-minute request limit, following the Google Cloud Storage (GCS) large-object copy enhancement.
• We updated GCS copy process to stop before reaching the 10-minute App Engine request timeout when handling very large files.
• We updated File Storage Manager to correctly recognize and trust authorized service accounts defined in the configuration, bypassing unnecessary backend access checks.
• We updated document creation token validation to accept requests using known subdomains, matching either the primary domain or entries in the new subdomains list.

AODocs backend 68.5 released on 5 November 2025

Bug fixes

• We implemented a solution to lock files when temporarily sharing attached files of previous versions.
• Retries are prevented when counting inactive datastore tasks during rate limit diagnostics.
• We updated a domain status check to skip Google Drive authorization for Microsoft users when Drive is not enabled. This avoids false “domain problem” banners in the user interface.

Technical improvements

• We updated Content Security Policy (CSP) definitions to replace vector-search URLs with document-assistant and temporarily allow both during migration.
• The backend now sends document class update events to PubSub.
• We created an API in the backend to search for document fields.

AODocs backend 68.4.1 released on 29 October 2025

Bug fix: We fixed an error preventing the use of the setField method in custom scripts to assign multiple values to fields.

Bug fixes

• The MIME type is now displayed consistently in views.
• We fixed an issue where documents couldn't be permanently deleted due to a stuck MOVE_TO_TRASH lock when the deferred attached file removal task failed permanently.
• We fixed a regression issue causing properties of type Folder (in the legacy user interface) to be returned when getting the list of fields on a document.

AODocs web application 68.2 released on 24 October 2025

Bug fixes on multi-level reference catalogs:

• The same value can no longer be selected multiple times.
• Levels are no longer inverted in the value picker.
• The Enter a value on all levels guidance text is now displayed when the field was empty.
• Sub-levels are now always reset when selecting a top level.

Bug fix: we fixed an ambiguous class name error in custom scripts.

New user interface 1.4.1 released on 21 October 2025

Bug fix: Users got a 404 error when clicking on a document title quickly after the view loaded. This has been fixed.

Feature improvement

• We increased the font size of tooltips in the document page.

Bug fixes

• Information icons (Hidden, Read-only, Description) next to property names on the document page are now aligned correctly.
• We fixed a bug that prevented Microsoft users from uploading attached files.
• We no longer show the Document isn't up to date popup when users click to edit the properties of a document.
• Date and time properties and now be conditionally mandatory.

AODocs backend 68.2 released on 20 October 2025

Bug fix:

• We fixed an error that occurred when the Document Permissions dialog opened in some documents. This involves handling the missing emailNameMapping in permission adaptation logic.

Technical improvements

• We added an internal API to update library permissions in Team Folders, Secured Folders, and Document management libraries. This lets library administrators change access levels, add or remove users and groups, and adjust sharing settings.
• We added new custom configuration flags to activate or deactivate the new Workflow and Document Class screens in the library administration. This allows controlled rollout and testing before global release.

AODocs backend 68.1 released on 16 October 2025

Bug fixes

• We corrected the requestFromUI property in audit log event. All actions triggered from the AODocs user interface are now properly marked as originating from the web application.
• We improved error handling for document copy operations triggered by custom scripts. There are now clear, user-friendly messages when copying is deactivated in a document class or when the user lacks permissions to create or write in the target folder.
• We fixed an issue in Team Folders where external users encountered an error when importing and attaching documents from Google Drive. This prevented the created document from linking with the Drive file.
• We fixed an issue where preventing custom scripts from running when creating a document also stopped calculated properties from being evaluated. Calculated properties and settings now update correctly even when scripts are skipped.
• It's no longer possible to create identical category value names at the root level across different category definitions.

Technical improvement

• We added the ability to export all custom scripts from a library into compilable artefacts. This allows Sonar analysis of the custom script source code.

Bug fix

• The AODocs Welcome page appeared when trying to access the library administration interface. This has been fixed.

• Display of folders was broken when some columns are pinned. This has been fixed.
• The Reset columns feature now works correctly.
• Empty category properties now appear for update in the bulk edit dialog.
• We fixed issues for readers when downloading attached files.
• Sorting now works correctly in the workflow actions page.

• We added a button to reset all filters in a view.
• We added the file name to the advanced viewer when it is not in Annotation mode.
• It is now possible to filter classes in the Copy files dialog.

Bug fixes

• Some error toasts could not be dismissed. This has been fixed.
• We removed library administration access for the Document manager role.
• Pinning the checkbox column is now persistent. 
• Text inline edit handle is now correctly positioned.
• Text inline edit is no longer cut cut when opened too close to the border of the screen. 
• Bulk edit now overwrites with empty values.
• The Scan Drive content feature now works on the root folder of a library.

AODocs backend 67.15 released on 1 October 2025

Feature improvements

• The file templating service is now exposed in an API.
• We enhanced the fullSizeOfAttachments property to correctly display the size of attached files in documents in libraries using Google Cloud or Azure Blob storage.

Bug fix

• The number of attached files in documents in libraries using Google Cloud or Azure Blob storage now displays correctly.

AODocs web application 67.8 released on 25 September 2025

Feature changes and improvements

• We added a banner informing users about the Google Drive permissions update currently being rolled out. It links to a Knowledge Base article providing further information. The banner is only shown in Team Folders and Secured Folders. It isn't shown in Document Management libraries libraries. It can be permanently dismissed.
• We introduced the ability to forbid global permissions (domain-wide or web-wide) in Additional Drive permissions, via API.

Bug fixes

• Some hidden properties were not displayed for library administrators in the beta views. This has been fixed.
• We corrected a typo in the Italian version of the delete dialog.
• Workflow transitions failed when the comment was too long, or contained a single dot character (.) – this has been fixed.

AODocs backend 67.14 released on 23 September 2025

Technical improvement: To improve performance, we reduced redundant Google API calls that retrieved user information during authentication on some domains.

• In Team Folders and Secured Folders, users can check a folder for missing files and permissions in Google Drive.
• We changed the behavior of the Copy attached files feature to search targets document by class instead of view. 
• The option in views to open the first document in Google Drive now works correctly.
• We added an indication in the Annotations feature when changes are being saved and when the save is complete.

Bug fixes

• Views displayed as a blank page when they didn't have a sort order defined in the administration. This has been fixed
• We reintroduced the Download button in the advanced viewer.
• Some menus were too narrow to properly see content (for example, in the New button menu). This has been fixed.

AODocs backend 67.11 released on the 11 September 2025

Feature improvement

• We added a new endpoint: /document/v1beta1/drive/{fileId}/revision/{revisionId}/storagelink to always return a Google Cloud Storage link for attached files stored in Drive. This ensure the MIME type information is always available.

Bug fixes

• We fixed email-to-document error handling. Failure notifications are now sent only to the original sender, preventing email loops within Google groups.
• We fixed an issue that prevented the creation of more than five reference catalog values at the same time.
• We fixed an issue where domains registered via the private API didn't display their AODocs domain administrator in the list of AODocs super administrators.

File Storage Manager 3.17 released on 26 August 2025

Bug fixes

• We fixed an issue where replacing attached files with a new version didn't work in libraries using Azure Blob Storage.
• We fixed an issue in libraries using Google Cloud or Azure Blob storage. Users weren't able to create new documents from templates with attached files.
• We fixed error handling when patching a library with a non-existent bucket.
• We fixed error handling in GcsCopyObjectTask to prevent null pointer exceptions (NPE) on failed copies.

Technical improvements

• We improved the Google Cloud Storage copy method by switching to “rewrite” when handling large files. This allows support for attached files over 256 MB, while maintaining current syncronization behavior.
• We optimized the Azure storage.objects.download endpoint to avoid redundant calls. This reduces unnecessary requests, while maintaining lock safety.
• We optimized the Azure storage.objects.get endpoint with lazy loading of blob tags. This removes extra calls and improves response time by about 100 ms.
• We added BigQuery logging for Azure Blob Storage storage operations. This captures details such as task type, duration, response codes, and errors for better tracking and monitoring.
• We added BigQuery logging for Google Cloud Storage notifications. This allows tracking of object changes, similar to Drive change logs.
• We added BigQuery logging for Google Cloud Storage operations. This captures details like task type, duration, and response codes for easier tracking and analysis.
• Bucket linking is now safer. Repeated attempts to link the same Google Cloud Storage bucket to a library or class return success instead of an error.
• We added BigQuery logging for Azure Blob Storage notifications. This creates the notification_abs_log table to track object changes with detailed metadata.

New user interface 1.1.0 and 1.1.1 released on 28 August 2025 (on early-access customer domains only)

Feature improvements

• Users with advanced permissions roles have access to the library administration.
• You can copy values from the view table.
• The current user is suggested in person combo-boxes and drop-downs lists.
• We increased the hit zone of the checkboxes in the view table.
• Files open in the new version of the advanced viewer in libraries using Google Cloud and Azure Blob storage.
• We improved the boolean display.

Bug fixes

• Double-click opens  documents and folder in new views.
• The domain administration page no longer displays in French Instead of English.
• The approval button for some workflows was missing in the new views. This has been fixed.
• Fixes and improvements to Bulk file downloader.
• Fixes and improvements to the new version of the advanced viewer and the Annotation and redaction feature.
• You can now search states in the State filter.
• It's no longer possible to set outdated values by inline edit.
• Single value text properties no longer have a multi-value edit.
• Users were unable to scroll when editing multi-value properites. This has been fixed.
• Infinite loading is used when scrolling in the cross-library search.
• We fixed a bug with the date picker.
• The download action in the Attached files panel wasn't working for libraries using Google Cloud and Azure Blob storage. This has been fixed.

Technical improvements

• We replace the offset property by nextPageToken in the search of the views.
• We deployed Matomo (analytics).

AODocs backend 67.9.2 released on 19 August 2025

It contains all the features and bug fixes of release 67.9, which was rolled back on 13 August 2025.

AODocs web application 67.6 released on 13 August

Feature improvements

• AODocs supports additional MIME type icons in libraries using Google Cloud or Azure Blob storage.
• We updated the wording and added warnings when using the Add everybody option on system roles.
• We added a progress spinner when adding files from OneDrive.

Bug fixes

• Arrows appeared next to the workflow action button at some zoom levels. This has been fixed.

AODocs backend 67.9 released on 11 August 2025

New features

• We introduced a new attached file editor permission on documents. Users with this role can edit attachments without modifying document properties. This applies only if they are also contributors. Full backend support was added for Document Management libraries and Secured Folders.

Bug fixes

• We fixed a session expiration issue that caused users to be repeatedly signed out of AODocs tabs.
• We fixed an issue where the column indicating the number of attached files always displayed "0" in document views.
• We fixed an incorrect display name and profile picture shown in the AODocs user interface for some users.
• We fixed an outdated display name shown in the AODocs user interface for a user.
• We updated the wording of the Document managers role for clarity. It now reads Can force workflow actions and view or edit all properties.

AODocs web application 67.5 released on 7 August 2025

Bug fix: 

• Pages in AODocs auto-refreshed repeatedly without any user action. This occurred since release 67.3, and has now been fixed.

AODocs backend 67.1 released on the 16 and 17 June 2025

• We introduced a reusable document creation token for bulk operations. Users can now generate one token per user and domain to streamline document ID allocation and file uploads without repeated backend access. This improves performance in high-volume scenarios like migrations.
• Support of Drive’s third-party shortcut files as attached files in AODocs: since shortcut files cannot be copied by Drive, we now maintain the same Drive file across versions of an AODocs document to ensure versioning compatibility.
• It is now possible to copy libraries using Google Cloud or Azure storage across domains. This operation is always done by the AODocs Service team.
• The AODocs document copy feature is disabled when a document contains Drive’s third-party shortcut files. This prevents potential errors and inconsistencies.

Technical improvement

• We added a strict mode to the document update API. When enabled, the update fails if the result leaves mandatory fields empty. This helps prevent invalid document states during editing.

File Storage Manager 3.16 released on 12 June 2025

• File Storage Manager now supports the new document creation token. Requests to create objects can be validated using this token without calling the AODocs backend. This improves efficiency when the document ID is pre-allocated but not yet created.

Bug fixes

• We improved error handling and timeouts during large file uploads in batch migrations. Timeouts when copying large attached files from customer-owned buckets now trigger clearer error messages and are less likely to fail due to increased timeout settings.

Technical improvements

• We set up the infrastructure for ingesting request logs into BigQuery, including Pub/Sub topics, dead letter handling, and a properly configured BigQuery table; all managed via Terraform.
• We added a new maintenance API in File Storage Manager to unlink Google Cloud Storage buckets. This endpoint removes CORS and notification settings, and deletes all related bucket entities. It can be used without backend access during migration scenarios.

• We fixed an issue where the File Storage Manager client API returned a 500 error when copying an object due to a missing content-type header in the request.
• We fixed an issue where URL redirection rules weren't applied after changing the configuration type, causing certain requests to return a 404 error instead of redirecting correctly.

Technical improvements

• We standardized the File Storage Manager message format with versioned documentation, including detailed field descriptions and nullable attributes, to help other services track changes in message structure.

• A warning banner is displayed on the document page when an attached file is encrypted with  Google Workspace CSE (client-side encryption).

AODocs backend 64.7 released on 22 May 2024 

Bug fixes

• We fixed two bugs which happened when the optimization on conditional logic was enabled:
  • the property name and ID are now specified in all error messages
  • the line number is now correct in all error messages

Note: from now on, the column number in the error messages is no longer reported, since it’s meaningless.

• An issue was preventing AODocs from knowing if sending an email was successful or not. This has been fixed.
• Synchronization of Drive labels from Drive to AODocs: when a document is checked in and Drive labels were updated while in the draft state, the new labels are now correctly retrieved in the new version of the document.
• When an AODocs domain is under "maintenance”, some automatic technical operations are now skipped to reduce infrastructure costs.

AODocs web application 64.3 released on 21 May 2024

Feature improvements

• We reordered the folder actions in the beta views contextual menu and, in Team Folders and Secured Folders only, added an action Open in Google Drive.
• We reintroduced the button Open in Google Drive in the top action bar in Team Folders and Secured Folders. This button is available when nothing is selected. Clicking this button opens the current folder in Drive.

Bug fixes:

• When users created two Google attached files in a document quickly one after the other, the second file wasn't attached to the document.
• An attached file was lost without warning when two users tried to add an attached file to the same document at the same time.

AODocs backend 64.6 released on 6 May 2024

Feature improvements

• We improved our internal tool to purge (discard) an AODocs tenant.
• Users can't check out an AODocs document that has an attached file encrypted with client-side encryption (CSE).

Note: This is the backend part of the feature only. The frontend part will be released at a later date.

Bug fixes

• We fixed a bug that created a bottleneck on the list of notification emails to send out.

• We optimized the execution of conditional logic formulas:
  • We fixed a bug that prevented a formula from running when there was an initial blank line.
  • We fixed a bug that displayed "[]" in an empty calculated multi-value property, instead of displaying nothing.
• Microsoft Word DOC attached files are now searchable in Google Cloud Storage or Azure Blob Storage libraries:
  • With the AODocs backend 64.1 release we fixed the issue for newly attached DOC files.
  • With this release, the DOC files already attached to documents will be searchable again. However, this operation must be triggered by the AODocs Support team and it will be effective a few days after the AODocs 64.5 release.
• We fixed a bug that prevented the SENT_NOTIFICATION audit log event from being created after sending an email.

• It is not possible to create a draft from a document which has an encrypted attachment.
• It is not possible to create an AODocs document with a new encrypted Drive attached file from custom scripts.

Bug fixes

• We fixed an issue that prevented AODocs from displaying some search results.
• When a parallel workflow transition fails, the PARALLEL_VALIDATION_ACTION audit log event is no longer generated.
• In DOCUMENT_UPDATED audit log events, the File type filter appeared as if it had been changed. However, this didn't reflect any real changes that the user had performed on the file. AODocs now ignores these meaningless changes for the the File type filter.
• We fixed an issue preventing external users from attaching one of their Drive files to an AODocs document.
• We fixed a bug that prevented some users from seeing all the libraries from the homepage.
• We fixed an issue on an AODocs API so lists of subfolders are now returned in the proper order.
• To ensure consistency, as long as a library is locked (for example, because it's being switched), it can't be deleted.
• We fixed a memory issue on a private API (restricted to Support and Operations teams).

In addition we made various technical improvements.

Bug fixes

• We fixed a bug that prevented Word DOC files from being searched when they were stored on Google Cloud Storage or Azure Blob Storage. The bug didn't occur with the DOCX format. The fix only applies to newly created attached files. We still need to fix the bug for existing files. 
• We fixed two technical bugs that affected our automatic tests.
• We fixed a bug that prevented email notifications from being sent when using the Emails to documents feature.
• We fixed a bug on the upcoming custom sender domain feature, which bypassed the configuration on the library or domain.

New features

• In the view configuration, the system property MIME type group was renamed to File type
• Improvements on the new ability to synchronize labels between AODocs and Google Drive.

Technical improvements

• We improved the automatic tests on the custom sender domain feature.
• We fixed a bug on our tracking system.
• We fixed a bug on our release system.

AODocs backend 63.9 released on 11 March 2024

New features

• When an attachment is encrypted using Google Workspace Client-Side Encryption (CSE), users are now prevented from copying the AODocs document (from the user interface, REST API and custom script).
• When creating a new AODocs document in a draft state from the API in a Team Folder or Secured Folder, AODocs checks the presence and consistency of the attachment.

Bug fixes

• When copying a library, there were sometimes issues with the copy of custom scripts; this is now fixed.
• Technical fix on user redirection, set after an AODocs domain has been moved from one AODocs instance to another one.
• We increased the technical performances of the EU instance, to better serve all the customers using this instance.

Technical improvements

• Two minor fixes and an improvement on the way we ship new releases of AODocs.

AODocs 64 released on 5 March 2024 (test domains)

AODocs R64 is enabled on customer test domains, in both US and EU production environments.

New features

• It's now possible to import a new AODocs document in a draft workflow state.
• From a custom script, you can set the value of a Reference Catalog property using its ID, and not only its name.

Bug fixes

• The custom configuration flag that lets users change the maximum number of pending workflow tasks listed on the library homepage to above the default value of 100 wasn’t working. We fixed it, so you can now use it again for an entire domain or individual libraries.
• We fixed an issue that prevented users from sending workflow notification emails with the Mailjet email provider when there were more than 50 recipients.
• We fixed a bug preventing users in a Google group or a domain set as library contributor to create a document from a template with more than four attachments.
• We made two technical fixes on our way of releasing new versions of AODocs.

AODocs for AODocs Life Sciences released on 23 February 2024

All customers using AODocs Life Sciences have been upgraded to AODocs 63.7.
