AODocs connectors change log

This article lists all the updates made to AODocs connectors since 2 May 2024.

This change log covers the following AODocs connectors:

Note: Under normal circumstances, all releases are deployed to all customer domains and instances (US and EU). Learn more: What are AODocs instances? However, AODocs Life Sciences domains use a separate release cycle. We may occasionally restrict the deployment to specific domains or instances for technical reasons.


Details of major releases and hot fixes

AODocs-Virtru integration 1.11  released on 17 April 2026

Bug fix: We fixed an issue causing an Access blocked: This app’s request is invalid error in Virtru.


New Salesforce Connector 3.2.0 released on 18 February 2026

  • Rule with create trigger, supporting:
    • AODocument with default title
    • AODocument with calculated title
    • AODocument with mapped title
    • Property mapping and state mapping
  • Upload of an attached file to an existing document

New Salesforce Connector 3.1.0 released on 4 February 2026

Feature improvement: Standard state synchronization from Salesforce to AODocs.


New Salesforce Connector 3.0.0 released on 28 January 2026

Technical improvement: Metadata synchronization from Salesforce to AODocs.


New AODocs Salesforce Connector 2.0.0 released on 20 November 2025

Technical improvements 

  • We totally rebuilt the Salesforce Connector using Salesforce subscription instead of Apex trigger. We totally refactored the Java part.

New features and feature improvements

  • The new AODocs Salesforce Connector is only for Google users and libraries using Google Drive.
  • You can create a rule to connect 1 Salesforce entity to 1 AODocs document class and map  the properties (unique mapping relation 1:1).
  • You can use the standard or custom Salesforce widget, based on your Salesforce license.
  • Based on the mapping, when an attached file is uploaded to the Salesforce widget, an AODocs document is created and the mapped properties filled into AODocs.
  • You can upload or drag and drop the attached file to the Salesforce widget.
  • There's a link to the attached file and AODocs document in the Salesforce widget.

Lumapps widget 3.0.0 released on 1 April 2025

Feature improvement

We replaced  the old authentication method with a new one that leverages the new extension connectors provided by LumApps. The new authentication method:

  • removes the necessity of signing in each time you access the widget - you only authenticate the first time you access the widget and when you change their password
  • lets you configure the widget easily for different public and private instances

Forms to AODocs 1.3.0 released on 10 December 2024

Feature improvement: All administrators of a given library can unlink forms linked to the library.


Lumapp widget 2.0 released on 30 May 2024

It contains:

  • Small improvements to the user interface.
  • The document page is now displayed in LumApps with the panels ordered according to the class display preferences.

AODocs eSign Connector 9.2.1 released on 2 May 2024

Bug fix: Only the required properties are updated, so calculated properties don't block the eSignature.
