Before you begin
Contact the super administrators of your domain. They must allowlist the individual users, domains or Google groups that require external access. Learn more: Manage external users.
Add your external users to your library
Give users and groups access to your libraries. You can do this in:
Automatically notify users when they have access
In Team Folders and Secured Folders, you can automatically notify users when the library shortcut is added to their My Drive.
1. When you have added your external users to your library, select these checkboxes:
- Add a library shortcut to the My Drive of every user
- Notify users by email when you the library shortcut is added to their My Drive
2. Click Save.
