Set your user preferences

As a user, you can define your preferences for how elements of the AODocs interface are displayed.

Note: Your user preferences are applied at the domain level. Any changes you make will affect all your libraries.

You can:

Access your user preferences

1. Access the AODocs homepage, a library homepage, a view or a document.

2. Open the user menu and select Preferences.

3. A new tab opens showing your user preferences.

Note: Any changes you make to your user preferences are applied immediately.

Set the locale for your email notifications

Note: Your library administrator can define the default locale for email notifications at the library level. Learn more: Configure how properties and the time are displayed in workflow emails. Changing the locale in your user preferences overrides the default locale setting at the library level.

Under Locale for email notifications:

1. Select the required language in the Locale drop-down menu:

  • English (UK)
  • English (US)
  • French
  • Hungarian
  • Italian
  • Portuguese
  • Spanish

2. Select the required timezone.

Define the page density 

By default, Compact is selected under Document page density

All your documents in all your libraries will be displayed in compact mode as shown below.

If required, select Comfortable.  All your documents in all your libraries will be displayed in comfortable mode as shown below.
