As a library administrator, you can activate or deactivate early-access features in individual libraries.
AODocs is constantly developing and improving. We want you to be able to benefit from new features as soon as they're ready.
With features that impact the end user experience you can:
- opt-in by activating features before general availability
- opt-out by deactivating features after general availability for a few releases
These opt-in and opt-out options let you introduce the changes at your own pace.
Super administrators can also activate or deactivate early-access features on the entire domain.
Important: Activating (or deactivating) features in libraries takes precedence over the domain level. For example, if you activate a feature on your domain and deactivate it in one library, the feature will be active in all libraries in your domain except the one in which you deactivated it. Similarly, if you deactivate the feature on your domain you can still activate it in selected libraries.
Currently you can activate the new views and library homepage.
Activate the new views and library homepage
The new views and library homepage are faster loading than their legacy counterparts. The new views offer several new features, including the ability to edit properties directly from the views.
1. Access the library administration.
2. Select Features.
3. Activate the switch. The new views and library homepage will be activated in your library.
The tag Domain default next to the switch indicates whether the feature is active by default on the domain. In the example below, the feature is not active by default.
