The AODocs mobile app is a mobile application that brings AODocs features directly into your mobile device.
Use views to browse your documents and folders.
You can customize the way each view is displayed by defining:
- which properties to show on the document cards and in which order
- criteria by which to sort your documents, in ascending or descending order
When you open a view, the AODocs mobile app applies the last preferences you applied for the view. If you didn't defined any preferences, documents are displayed in the order defined for your view by your library administrator. Learn more: Create and manage views in your library.
This article explains how to customize your views and return to the default settings.

Define which properties to display on the document cards in your view
By default, document cards in views display the criteria defined by the library administrator who configured your view. Learn more: Configure the layout of views.
You can select different properties to display in your views.
1. Tap the Manage properties button.
Tip: Tap the toggle to show/hide the sort button and the Manage properties button.
2. Select a maximum of four properties.
Note: If four properties are already selected, you must deselect one before you can select another.
3. If required, reorder the properties: drag and drop the handle on the left of each property.
4. Tap Apply.
The document cards in your view now show the properties you selected. If you close your view and reopen it, your document cards show the properties you selected even if they're different from those defined by the library administrator.
Sort your view
A default sort criterion and sort order (ascending or descending) are defined by the library administrator who configured the view. Learn more: Configure the layout of views.
You can change the sort options.
1. Tap the button showing the current sort criterion and order.
Tip: Tap the toggle to show/hide the sort button and the Manage properties button.
2. Select the required sort criterion.
Note: The list shows all the system properties and the sortable properties of the class associated with the view.
3. Tap the arrow to change the sort order (ascending or descending).
4. Tap Apply.
Your view is now sorted according to the selected criterion and direction. If you close your view and reopen it, the sort details you selected are applied even if they're different from those defined by the library administrator.
Reset your view to the default settings
If you customized your view, when you open one of the preferences again there is a Reset to default button at the top of the screen. Tap it to reset the default settings defined by your library administrator.
Note: The preferences for custom properties and sorting views are separate. If you reset the default for one, the other preference is not affected.
