Choose the type of document to create
1. Open a Document Management library in which you have permission to create documents.
2. Tap the Create new document button.
3. A panel appears displaying the available options, depending on the configuration of your library. Select the required option (document class, template).
Learn more about the options available in Document Management libraries.
Note: If there's only one document class in your library with no templates or with a default template, an unsaved document opens directly.
Make changes to your unsaved document
When you have chosen the type of document to create, an unsaved document opens.
If there are mandatory properties to fill in, a progress bar indicates how many mandatory items (including the document title) have been filled in. The mandatory properties are marked with a red star.
1. In the Properties tab, fill in the title and any mandatory properties.
Note: If calculated titles are configured for the document class, you can't edit the Title field. A title is automatically calculated when you save your document. Learn more: Create formulas for calculated titles.
5. If required, add attachments in the Attachments tab. Learn more about adding attachments with the AODocs mobile app.
Note: The Attachments tab displays any files you add manually and, in a separate list, any template attachments if you created your document from a template.
6. If you want to rename or remove an attachment, tap the More actions menu and select the required option.
Note: If you mark an attachment for deletion, you can cancel your action before you save by tapping the orange backward arrow.
Important: After removing an attachment from a document, you can't access it again.
Tap Create.
Your document is created.
