Important: This article is for Google Workspace customers only. If you're using Microsoft 356 and are interested in installing AODocs, contact our Sales team: sales@aodocs.com.
AODocs requires your permission to perform operations on your Google domain, such as updating file permissions, creating folders, reading the list of users and groups, etc.
These permissions are normally set when you install AODocs from the Google Workspace Marketplace. However, in some cases, they need to be confirmed manually by a Google Workspace super admin.
By default data access is set on the whole domain, but you can use the Google Workspace Admin Console to limit AODocs data access to specific OUs.
1. Open the Google Admin console.
2. In the left panel select Apps > Google Workspace Marketplace apps > Apps list.
3. Click AODocs.
In the Data access section, the status indicator should display Status: Granted in green. If it's not, click the Grant access button.
| #Domain access | #Restrict access to specific organizational units |
|
The example below shows access for everyone on the domain. |
The example below shows how to restrict access to specific organizational units (OUs). To change access for individual OUs, click View organizational units and groups. In the example below, AODocs doesn't have access to the "Finance" organizational unit. |
Note: If your Google domain has a large number of organizational units, granting data access to AODocs on your domain may take some time (up to a few hours). In this case, AODocs will report application programming interface (API) errors until the API access permissions granted to AODocs are applied on all organizational units.
