You can create Google files in Team Folders and Secured Folders in Google Drive.
You can also create Microsoft Office files.

Create Google files and connected apps in Team Folders
When working in Team Folders in Google Drive, you can create all Google format files and files associated with connected apps. You don't need the Smartbar to do this.
Use the standard Google Drive feature:
1. Open a Team Folder in Google Drive.
2. Navigate to the folder where you want to create your file.
3. Click the New button and select the type of file you want to create.
The file is added to your Team Folder.

Create Google files in Secured Folders
When working in Secured Folders in Google Drive, you can create Google Docs, Sheets, Slides, Forms and Drawings. You must install the AODocs Smartbar to do this.
1. Open a Secured Folder in Google Drive.
2. Navigate to the folder where you want to create your file.
3. Click the New button and select the type of file you want to create.
The file is added to your Secured Folder.
Add other Google formats and connected apps to Secured Folders
When working in Secured Folders in Google Drive, you can't create other Google files such as Google My Maps or files associated with connected apps. Create these file types in standard Google Drive and then import them into AODocs.
1. In Google Drive, open a standard folder (not an AODocs library).
2. Click the New button and select More in the drop-down menu.
3. Select the type of Google file you want to create or a connected app.
4. Import your file from Google Drive to your Team Folder or Secured Folder.
