It is currently possible to extract the documents' attachments and properties of a view of a library using the bookmarklets. It is not based on the results of a search yet. We will consider this enhancement based on the votes and feedback.
I agree with Jérémy, I think the ability to execute a search query, and then extract that list of all matching documents would be ideal. Currently yes, the bookmarklet supports extraction of all documents in a view. It would be ideal to have this tool improved.
It would be great if the main UI contained the ability to export any view. A folder list, a search result, etc. This should not be paged. The export could be a CSV or simply a Google Sheet or you could prompt the user. The export should contain all applicable metadata for the Document Class that is presented by the view and should include a link to the details page for each document.
This would be very useful because we often need to export punctually lists of documents based on one or several criterias. It's not practical at all to be forced to create a new view to generate the list we want, and it would be restricted to administrators when users should also have that possibility.
Although this is not yet available in the AODocs interface, our Bulk Updater has a feature for advanced exports which allows you to configure a search (based on a class or a view) and perform exports:
This can be run by users with contributor or reader access to the library and it also provides the feature to keep the export up to date with auto-refresh feature.
Indeed, thank you for the input Thibault. It's a good tool for admins / doc controllers. Though for the average user it is a little too unpractical because it's not in the aodocs interface and you have to know how to write your query and use the search operators.

Hello Jeremy,

Thank you for the contribution.
The best workaround is to make a custom hidden view, with the filters you want, and use that with the bookmarklet so it seems

@graham, yes indeed, but it can be tricky to create a view for each search queries.
