Need "Notify Users" checkbox on the permissions screen to notify people who are given access to a doc (paralleling Google's standard "notify users" checkbox)

When sharing a document with people in the permissions menu, it would be very helpful if the system had a checkbox to notify them. This is something Google users are used to and are immediately asking me about upon launch of this tool. Using the "Notify Email" AODocs feature is not easy enough to serve as a replacement for this function.
