Last modification date when document moved to another folder
When you move a document from one folder to another one, the "last modification" date and "last updated by" metadata are changed.
We really need to have an option to not modify these metadata if the user wants to keep the original values for the last modification date and the last author.
In some cases (especially for quality processes) when you need to reagency your documents by moving them from one folder to another one, it's clearly not possible to lose this information about the last modification date and the last author.

As of release 49 launched last week, moving documents from folder to folder does not change the "Last modified" timestamp.
Totally agree with that feature.
When we do some extracts to follow our Document Management the metadatas of last modification is really usefull to identify the pertinence of the Doc.
We are planning to have this feature added in the next release of AODocs (Release 49).
