Always show a global search box

Would like a dedicated global search box to always appear at the top of the page (perhaps in the blue bar at the top?).

There may need to be three different incarnations of the global search box:

(1) on the main Library landing page

(2) on a Document

(3) on a view

We would like the main Library landing page search (1) to always be the global search. On a view (3) we would want to ensure that the global search is clearly defined separately from the view search.

It would also be great if the global search would allow users to select search pre-filters such as Class, Title, Creation Date, etc.
