Administrator Mode

It would be great if library administrators could enable and disable an "administrator mode".

At present, as an administrator, I am able to edit documents that are supposed to be in read-only mode (based on workflow state). This can be risky if I don't realize that the state should be read-only, or if I even accidentally hit keys on the keyboard while a document is open.

If the administrator mode were something, as a user, I could enable and disable for myself, I could enable it when I needed to make library admin changes or perform other administrator functions (like forcing workflows), but leave it disabled the rest of the time to prevent inadvertent changes to locked documents.
