Increase Document export row limit

It would be a very nice feature to increase the number of documents (=rows) per spreadsheet that are exported by the "Document Export" bookmarklet.

At the present time there is an hard limit of 1000 rows per spreadsheet.

It should be possible to increase that value considering that a Google Spreadsheet support up to 2 millions cells in a single spreadsheet (https://support.google.com/drive/answer/37603?hl=en) and with 1000 rows the large majority of cells are not used.

  • Hello Bobba,

Have you tried the Bulk Updater tool? It performs an asynchronous export of the library/view/search that you want and has a higher limit than the Document Export bookmarklet that is more a handy tool for quick actions.

  • Hello Thibault,

I have tried the Bulk Updater tool but, as stated in the guide, "Only super administrators and library administrators can use Bulk Updater.".

Instead, the Document Export tool can be used by any user that has access to the library to create an extraction and making some statistics on those data.

  • Hi Bobba, You are right. You might, therefore, try our other connector:

    https://support.aodocs.com/hc/en-us/articles/115001577863-What-is-the-AODocs-AwesomeTable-connector-

This one allows you to retrieve a view in Spreadsheet and is usable by viewers.

Let me know if it works for you.

  • Hi Thibault,

    Thanks for your advice.

I have tried the AwesomeTable connector and it's awesome (like its name).
