Users can view all libraries from AODocs dashboard but not necessarily open all of them

Have the following optional setting: Users can view all libraries from AODocs dashboard but not necessarily open all of them. I.e., we have some Secured Folders that are not accessible to all domain users, and this means they do not appear in the dashboard. It would be good to have the option to display such libraries, even though those users still should not be able to access/open/use them.

  • Hi Jeremy,

Thanks for your request. I understand that this feature is to enhance the discovery of the content of AODocs, let's say, even if the user does not have access, he can learn about it and request access to the administrator of the library.

This might need to be combined with a way to know who is the admin of the library (from the AODocs homepage) , what do you think?

  • Thanks Thibault. Your understanding is correct and yes, your suggestion regarding ability for end users to request access to the library admin would be helpful as well.
