In AODocs, as long as you are a contributor you can upload and replace a file from the Google Drive interface for non-native files (.pdf, images, .dwg, docx, ...). To do so you need to
right click on the file
select manage versions
click upload a new version
upload your new file
Keep in mind that Google Drive does not allow you to perform this action on Native Google Drive files (Docs, Sheets, Slides, Drawing..)
For the latter, this is a feature provided by Google Drive, I agree it could be convenient to change the file name with the uploaded one,. Unfortunately if Google Drive doesn't allow this, we won't be able to provide the feature.

Thank you for the reply. In AODOCs interface the file name can be changed automatically to the new upload file name.
But in the google drive interface it cannot.
It would be nice to be able to select to replace the file name by the upload files or not.
