DO YOU NEED AODOCS TO SPEAK IN YOUR LANGUAGE ?
---
Altirnao R&D wonders if it should put a higher priority on multi lingual features.
Do we need to be able to translate DMS libraries in several languages in order to make one DMS library in several languages ? This would mean library admin to translate field names, category names, workflow actions, states, notifications into several languages.
It happens that today AODocs users speak 15+ languages according to their statistics.
We all know that while they do that, they don't do other things, so we should ask ourselves if this is a blocking point for us in getting the most value from AODocs.
What are your thoughts ?

It is definitely a functionality that International companies need. Higher priority certainly, highest I let them decide...

Hello,
For us this feature may be important. We have some libraries used in several countries and the workaround is to put names in french and english. It's not very useful and the fiels are, sometimes, too short for the text.
Yes, it can be difficult to input the names in several languages but, in most cases, we do it once.

Hello everyone,
The R&D team took your request into consideration and we're glad to inform you that this functionality is coming soon: planned for release 43.
Thanks to all of you for your feedback!
Translation schemes should definetly be introduced. Our libraries provide documents for a wide range of users in three different languages, two of them not considered in AODocs.
Most of them speak english or french, but the users on the field generally don't. Providing AODocs in their language would largely push acceptance and adaptation.
