From Google Drive, the smartbar does not work when in grid mode. It should be able to operate in both list and grid mode to suit different user preferences.
I vote for the feature to be activated. Grid view is very helpful especially when sorting pictures and videos which is part of the content we store in our marketing server.

Grid view is a must for browsing through a photos folder. Can we expect this feature coming soon ?
