CLM: Import third party contracts to AODocs from Gmail

AODocs Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) is a tool that lets you streamline and automate your processes throughout the entire lifecycle of your contract: creation, approval, negotiation, signature, ongoing management and renewals.

Import a contract from an email attachment in Gmail

Follow the instructions in the article Save a Gmail message you received into an AODocs library.

Important: Make sure you select the 03 Contracts document class. 

In the example below, we're going to create a new contract in AODocs with the attachment from the Gmail message.

Retrieve the contract in AODocs

1. Open the WIP contracts view.

Learn more about how to access contracts.

The new contract appears at the top of the list. Its name is Contract under creation, please link entities.

2. Click the title to open your contract.

3. Click the edit button to access edit mode.

4. Add related items.

5. Fill in properties (metadata) and select clauses.

6. Click the Save button.
