What is the banner asking me to re-initialize when I start UFO?

You might have seen a new banner informing you that the UFO extension failed to initialize. Why did you see this banner?

We’re currently working on removing the need to have a separate Chrome extension for UFO. If you work in AODocs you won’t need to install the UFO Chrome extension any more. This means that you’ll be able to use UFO in any browser.

Learn more: What are the components of the UFO/AFO extension?

This work started a few months ago, and we've started releasing our new extension step by step.

If the extension doesn’t initialize successfully, a banner appears. You just need to click the Try again button.
