Create a document from a template

AODocs administrators can configure document templates to let users create documents with:

  • default values for its properties
  • a default description
  • default attachments (only in Document Management libraries)

To create a document from a template, access your library homepage in the AODocs interface.
Then, click on the “NEW” button (1).

The new document is initialized with the default properties values (3), default attachments (4) and/or a default description (5) defined in the selected template.

Note: Default attachments are only available in Document Management libraries.
