Enable the configurable editor

The configurable editor is the default document editor. It replaces the legacy editor which is being deprecated. The legacy editor might still be active on previously configured libraries but is now forced by default for any new document class.

The configurable editor allows library administrators to customize the look and structure of the documents of a library's class by ordering the sections of the document.

Below is displayed a document in the configurable editor:

To enable the configurable editor on your document class:

1. In your library administration, access your document class’ section tab: Document view configuration

2. Under the document editor drop-down, select the Configurable editor

Note: If you do not have the document editor option, your document class has already the configurable editor enabled.

Once the configurable editor is enabled, you will be able to manage the display of AODocs documents.
