In an AODocs library, it is possible to copy a document with its properties, attachments, relations, description and permissions. Only the last version of a document is copied with the same version name and description. The workflow state is reinitialized on the copy.
You can copy documents if you match all the following conditions:
- You are allowed to create a document in the document class;
- You are reader or contributor on the document;
- You are contributor on the parent folder if the permissions are inherited from folders;
- You are contributor on the document class permissions.

To copy a document, your first have to open it in AODocs by clicking on it (1).

The document properties and all the attached files (2) will be opened.

In the “More actions” menu (3), you will be able to copy the document (4).

When the copy operation starts, a status bar appears at the top of the screen (5), indicating the progress of the copy operation. It disappears automatically when the copy is complete. You can click on “View more details” (6) to open a pop-up window with more information about the copy operations.

Once the copy is finished, the copied document will be opened in the AODocs document editor.
The document is renamed "Copy of [Name of of original document]" (7).
The workflow state is reinitialized (8). Only the last version of a document is copied with the same version name and description.
The properties, attachment, relations, descriptions and permissions are copied as in the original file. You can then modify them with the "Edit" icon (9).
Note: The attachments of the copied document are copies of the original attachments and thus have different URLs even if they have the same name.
